I like straps that are absolutely minimal and totally secure, but quickly removed.
For the M: standard Leica M strap, with the rubber pad removed, the slider buckle cut off, and the ends bartacked to length. For my SLR/DSLR: Same, but with the adjustment buckles intact.

Luigi's 12mm wide neck strap on my M6, gordy's wrist strap on my IIIf. Both are superb.

+1 vote for the Domke swivel gripper.
One vote for the Gordy wrist strap also. Find it really "handy"!

My own 3 strand mystery braid, Ralph Gibson or Schwalberg/strapateer straps.

For me, only wrist straps, and Luigi's is very nice.

Gordy + M3. I like the fact that you can decide the lenght.

I only like the original black 14 092 G Leica neck strap from the fifties and sixties. It is made from leather of unborn calfs. Extremely soft and smooth. I collect them.
Erik.
Erik, do you have a photo of one, and do you know where to buy them?
thanks.

I have a small loop of jump-cord attached through one of the strap-lugs, to which I clip my R-Strap.

Yet another vote for the Domke swivel gripper, but I use the attachment ends from the modern Leica straps; they are easier to get on and off and I like the plastic bit that snaps down over the end to keep it in place.

I use a Leica neoprene strap made for the binocular products.

And another Domke swivel gripper user. The grip strips really do work. Good value too.

I know it doesn't get mentioned, but I am going to put in a plug for Mr. Zhou's leather strap. It is very soft and supple, just the right length (40 in. or so) and costs half of Luigi's.

I love the Domke swivel gripper straps. I use the smaller ones on my Ms and the larger ones on my Canons.

richardvanle, smaller meaning thinner (1 inch wide) and larger meaning wider (1.5 inch wide)? That would make sense to me. Just wondering if that is what you meant.

Looks like the Domke Strap is the most popular and for good reason. Besides my silk love, I have 2 domke's.

Domke for years, converted to Wapiti for the dSLRs, but for the RF's, it's Gordy's all the way for me.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, that's exactly what I meant.
