I try to find what is the best lens to buy for my GF1 in in terms of resolución and sharp from corner to corner.
thanks for your help!!!

I use the Contax G Zeiss 35 Planar. Great sharp lens, the best for the money. I also like the 35 Summicron, great also just a little softer. The photo below is from the Summicron.

Hello! My favourites are Panasonic 1,7/20mm and Perar 3,5/35mm. I also use Canon FD 1,2L/50mm and Nikkor 1,8/105mm. On the wide side CV 5,6/12mm and 4,5/15mm. Photography is the greatest hobby of all!

If you meant the lens other than the Panasonic 1.7 20mm that I bought with the camera. The 20mm 1.7 is superb, & is my everyday lens. Super sharp & takes advantage of all the cameras features. I have a small collection of Leitz & Contax G lens that I wanted to have a digital body for. If you are buying one lens get the Panasonic 20mm 1.7, if you want to use a lens from other M or G mount cameras, the Contax G lens are great.

i really like the G- Biogon 28mm but i dont want cut the rear protection of the lens

The Panasonic 20mm 1.7 is a 35mm equivalent of a 40mm. The 35mm would be a 70mm on the GF1 camera. If you are getting one lens get the 20mm 1.7 Panasonic if cost is no problem.

I have the 28 Contax, did not want to cut it either. The 35 Planar is one of my favorite lens. I paid $40.00us for the lens adapter for the GF!. You will only have auto focus with the Panasonic lens. All the other lens you will have to manual focus on the GF1. It is also much easier to manual focus with the external viewfinder.

I do enjoy the manual focus & using my older lens on the GF1, you can keep the rendition & look of the older softer lens. Or use the sharper Contax or Panasonic lens. The camera is a great camera.

35 planar = 70.. to much.. for me.. i need 50 max.. thanks K.Knox
I have the heliar 50 3.5 is amazing .. but i dont know any other lens in 20 , 25 like this..
