I've never owned a 75mm lens. But I have shot a 50mm on a DSLR with a 1.5 crop factor, and I really liked the result.
Actually, in P&S cameras 38 mm (or its equivalent on small digital sensors) seems to be more common than 35 mm. 38 mm is closer to 40 mm than 35 mm.VinceC said:I voted for the 35mm.
