I did not.Did you remove the plastic piece under the shutter speed dial? I should have clarified, I removed the dial itself and shutter release button, but did not remove the part underneath it

Maybe the sensor has dust on it [sensor in bottom of camera] sensing reflection from pattern on shutter cloth.I am guessing you cleaned yours based on this post?
Minolta CLE Metering Pattern
Hi all, I've been shooting with a CLE for the last few weeks and can't seem to understand the metering pattern. I have some shots that are perfectly exposed and some that are blown out highlights with no shadow detail. Does anyone know what the metering pattern is on the CLE? I've searched...rangefinderforum.com
I couldn't get the shutter speed dial off, wasn't sure if the spanner part was left hand or normal thread so I didn't get that off.
I only ended up cleaning the lower part of the four contacts on the lower left of that photo of above. Mine had some buildup on that got on the swab I used. I don't know if it will do what yours did in the long-term though.
Yes...cleaned glass on sensor, took base off [watch out]. :-( 🙂, top off etc., hope you are successful!Maybe the sensor has dust on it [sensor in bottom of camera] sensing reflection from pattern on shutter cloth.
I have pictures of hot shoe contacts when top is off etc. nothing touching alignment for rangefinder. Needs cleaning of shutter select contacts as has become onerous in non automatic mode. Automatic seems fine....but it does need the contact cleaning...had found instructions for this with pictures....on line.....but not a thing high on my list. Have Contax 1 needing shutter ribbons.....used to be something I was patient enough to do....have tools and material...just not up to it at moment. The CLE is nice camera. The finder is exceptional but the rangefinder image .......better to just have major wide angle lens on it!I'd love to know just what you cleaned -- I tried cleaning the contacts on mine some time ago and it worked without the jumping LEDs for a time, but has since reverted. I've never gotten a clear answer on what exactly is to be cleaned. Thanks.
I'm assuming this is a CLE -- anything in particular you wanted to point out? Thanks for the pictures.
The Makina 67 arrived home from service today. Not quite back yet, but I heard from the repair tech today that my Plaubel Makina 67 repairs are done, so I should receive it back within the week. Yay!
I look forward to hearing your impressions after a few rolls ….The Makina 67 arrived home from service today.
It feels, looks, and works as if new again. I'm very pleased. 😀

Not quite a Makina but this was today’s project which had been sitting in a box for three years. Shutter and lens clean and transplant from an Isolette II, bellows replacement with new leather ones, rangefinder unstuck. I promise myself it will be the last Isolette (till the next one). The Makina 67 arrived home from service today.

An old one or a re-issue?I’ve had a Leicavit that I bought around 2005 that needed repair. Sent it to DAG - just got it back and it now works as new. 10 day turn around from initial email conversation to receiving back the Leicavit.
Been a little while..I look forward to hearing your impressions after a few rolls ….
Didn't know there was a "re-issue"...An old one or a re-issue?
