what program?

Hi everyone,
What program do you use for scanning?. I've bougth a KonicaMinolta elite 5400II to scanning my slides. What do prefer, it's own program or one like vuescan or so...?

I´m using the silverfast AI with a flat scanner and i´m happy with the combination (amateur use). In other forums (photo net) they use to put both programs, silverfast & vuescan, the same value (fifity-fifty more or less).
