...more Leicas! I now have a silver MP which I've owned since '03, a used black one which I got as a backup for a trip earlier in the year, a demo M7 which I got on a great deal last month, and now an M4 -- totally impulse purchase. And I also have a Leicaflex SL, one of the few remnants of an extensive SLR outfit I used for a few trips.

I used to fight it, and told myself, I could only have X amount of stuff, but now I don't care, as long as they get used.

Great!....how about showing us some results? :)

You want me to use them?

Seriously, I just got a scanner and finished with the 30 rolls from my last trip. Now I just have to figure out Photoshp to resize the pictures. I've given up on the printer.

It looks like to scan my negatives from the past -- I'll be doing it the rest of my life! I should've heeded the advice to pay another to do it.

You may be a shopaholic. It means you are hooked on shopahol. The thrill of the purchase, the feelings of remorse, the vows never to do it again...to just use the gear you have...sound familiar? We should have a support group... oh right I guess this is it.

I did something similar, except that my plight is worse.

Some years ago I decided that it was wrong to keep camera equipment which I did not use, so I got rid of almost everything. Last month I bought a IIIa as a back-up for my M3. I still use little film, and only two of the three lenses for the M3 are screw mount. When the IIIa -- supposedly just overhauled near Boston -- reached me, I found one shutter curtain out of position. It is now in Calcutta to be fixed. I had declined the offer of the seller, an RFF member, to take it back because I had bought a body covering for it, as well as an Industar-50 lens and a Geiss Kontakt.

Every action described above should be accompanied by the adverb "foolishly". In for a dime, in for a kilogram...
