what the light meter do u use for canon RF?

now i use canon P and i think i got problem sunny 16 so which is the good light meter for me? :D

Accurate mesurement of the light has nothing to do with the camera. My Gossen Digisix is accurate, but so are most other meters.

I use a hand-held meter, off the camera. My meter is a Weston V, repaired and re-calibrated by George at Quality Light Metric, in Hollywood. The Weston is a great meter, and you can buy a "not working" meter cheap on ebay then have it overhauled like new by QLM.

Digisix. Tiny, accurate especially in low light. It's easy to be accurate by eye in daylight, but It's hard to guesstimate an f2 / 15th situation Vs an f5.6 / 15th situation.

Lunapro and Weston Master and Pentax Spot are classics for zone system B&W photography...if that's what you do, consider them (though their CDS and selenium cells are dying of old age and banged bezels and they probably never were as accurate as current digital meters).

Depends on film and darkness. At sunshine I use the inbuild meter of my Canon 7, and Canon-Meter at the "P" (with Color Neg or B&W-film, don't use slide film on that cameras)
Indoors or with no sun, Gossen Lunasix or Sixtomat handheld meters.

cheers, Frank

most of the time a mk1 eyeball,....... it's more reliable than most lightmeters, if you know how to use it. sometimes, like colour transparency film, - almost never - a pentax spotmeter.

I use a Calcu-Lite from Qualcom. Digital readout helps in the low light. Very sensitive meter. I also have my Black Cat somewhere.

I have been using a Pentax Digital spotmeter for many years, and I still do with my Canon P and VI-L and other cameras in which I decided not to replace the batteries in their camera meters. This way, I am getting more and more used to one meter that allows me to better understand exposure. Often I just use the Sunny 16/11 rule and get nice results.
