Ah looky looky
I've got a couple packages of expired Ilford paper.. It's old and just plain annoying to work with. Contrast stinks, It's curling at the edges. I can't even get a good contact sheet from it.
Is there a developer I should try to improve it a little? Toss it? Sell it (which seems wrong)?
Btw, i'd like to not that I've got some RC paper from a similar vintage and it's 100x better than the FB paper.

Some of the best prints I have ever seen were made using grievously expired paper. Add benzotriazole 1% solution at 10ml/l and increase both exposure and development time.

Maybe you could practice some lith printing on it, from what I gather it's a pretty unpredictable process anyways.

Lith.
Or bleach. Unpredictable but you canget away with masterpieces.
Benzo is fine but I somehow cannot make it work on my fogged paper. I must be doig something wrong...

Darkroom printing lives
Where have I read recently that expired photo paper makes a good base for self-coated processes like Cyanotype, Argyrotype, Kallitype, etc.
Maybe you can try that.

Nice ideas. I just got a box of Kodabromide with a 1972 expiration date. Came with an interesting home made enlarger from an old gentlemans darkroom. Joe

don´t get annoyed, stomp it into the bin and take good paper instead. why make things more complicated than they are?
