Leica LTM What type of Leica is this ???

This is on eBay Germany; the seller says it's an M2 (I don't think so ...), but what is it ?

Cameraquest's serial number list says it's a 1937 Leica I.

I'd go with that too - the rewind knob is too small for a I.

But what's that in the cold shoe??

Looks like they fixed it. Now the title says it's a Standard Model E.

It's the shoe of the short base rangefinder FOKOS (HFOOK).

Thanks for that - I didn't realise it was a separate piece

It's rare to find the base on the range-finder. They often get separated...
