Tough Choices Rich.

It's so hard to choose between RF+films and my significant other.
Eventually I've come up with a solution. I would pre-order a M6 and 1000 rolls of film and mail them to the island first.
Then I'll bring my girl there. I don't think my gal will come with me though.

So I'd better do the same thing with cameras and films. Then bring some books with me.

As much as I love my wife, I would choose the RF with 1000 rolls of film, and then wife with the alcohol--the two have to go together!

I'd have to take my wife for three reasons (two of which I'll elaborate here 😉 ). First, iIf she knew the circumstances she would insist on coming along demanding to know how it is that I deserve a break and she doesn't, and secondly, if she knew the circumstances, she would bring the alchol, and lots of it. 😀

2. Books... (still the best pastime, after "No. 1" of course)
3. RF with 1000 films (but what do you shoot after a while on a remote island?)
4. Laptop etc. ('cause it wouldn't work long in such surrounding anyway)
5. Satellite phone (if it works there, that is)

A power generaor with 1000 Gallons of fuel, plus a small A/C unit. I don't see this option though.

Next best choice, a satellite phone with spare batteries and solar charger. This way, my wife can inform me how she and the kids are doing. I could also call for help ....
