What would you call this? (film supply)

A better approach to photography than swapping (selling/buying) cameras (lenses) all the time. 😀😉 (I am guilty in this regard, too ....)

Will,

Hah! I saw that on Craigslist and *almost* called. An hour later, it was gone. You got it within two hours of it being posted, didn't you? The posting did not stay up very long.

How are the expiration dates and how was the film stored? (I may really kick myself for not going for it immediately. I saw some B&W in 220 format in the Craigslist pictures, so assumed it was very expired).

So someone owned all this!

Imagine having this much film and deciding to switch to digital! 😱

Imagine having this much film, deciding to switch to digital, selling all films off just to realize later that switching to digital was a bad move and then starting to buy film again ... 😱

The problem is that some of these films are un-rebuyable.

Now show us your fridge !

I am not a hoarder.
My film fridge is tiny.
A quarter of this pile won't fit into it. Gotta decide...
But for once, I have a good problem on my hands. 🙂

Sid,
They are between 2008 and 2010 in expiration dates.
The seller called me again the next day and had another batch.
I didn't even think twice.

Now why would you even *consider* to do something silly like that 😎

The problem is that some of these films are un-rebuyable.

Righty-o, Chris.

err ... obsessive? ....................... 😉

I prefer "cautiously optimistic" 🙂

+1.
And to make the fun complete, just add some BW and color reversal film to it.
Why having a meal with only two courses, if you can easily have it with four excellent courses 🙂.

Enjoy it!
Cheers, Jan

Now that's an idea.
