What would you say, Mint minus condition?

Perhaps 'irrational exuberance' is the appropriate description here? $4k...

I came across a 2005 SP brand new kit at a London shop the other day.... Priced at a mere $10000, is that what it's worth?

The bidder doesn't know any better.
Only if they knew they could have a new one for close to that price...

Kiu

The bidder has money to burn and maybe doesn't know the better avenue to find this sort of stuff. Look at his/her buying pattern. Some good buys, but some highend stuff too.

Fortunately, I did some research before I bought my first RF. I've spent maybe too much lately, but I have a very CLEAN looking kit, and everything works as it should.

They may get a taker, but at that price its most likely destined to be a shop decoration .... which may be the intended purpose. $5,000 would be a more reasonable figure.

Reminds of a shop in Wellington, NZ (link) that has an S3 2000 kit listed for $13,999. It's priced so high, its like they really don't want to sell it ....

Cleaned up, that thing might have made a great shooter, assuming everything works. It looks like its been through a war - maybe it has!

$4000, though, not for me.

I'll say, since I'm in California that one would cost me $7542 plus shipping. I'm going to find out where the other stores mentioned in the ad are (outside of California) so that I can buy it for $7500 and save the $42 plus shipping. I'm not gonna get screwed. Hah, suckers!

And if you sign up for the ebay mastercard, you can save another $25!
