I too would pick the F. Actually I would probably take my Nikkorrmat FT3, but you get the idea. Pick one lens and call it good. I dont have many Nikkor lenses, but my most versatile, likely to take most of the time is the 55mm(?) f/3.5 Micro. Great, sharp, pretty much a built-in lens hood. For me and my style of shooting, it's great. I'd find space for some sort of camera support, tripod, clamp, etc. before I would think about lens number 2. Your preferences may, and should, vary.
