what you want RIGHT NOW

Joe,

It just feels a bit wierd peering around to the far edges of the finder trying to visualize the FOV. Maybe it's just practice. Then again, it's all I can to to focus, set aperture and shutter speed, let alone compose outside my comfort zone. I am a bit dumb, after all.

i bought a 25 cv finder.
put it on the camera and compared the internal view with that of the finder.
once i had that fix in my head it got easier. the sides i had pretty much figured out but the top and bottom was a surprise as there was much more area included than i previously thought.

then i sold the finder.

i just think it's a shame to sell as it's such a fine lens.

What several of us want right now is a flight for Joe from Edmonton to Montreal for May long weekend!

Peace in my mind, steady hands, sharp - fast eye, basic of photography( exposure theory) all the time in thoughts, strenght to stand up when I fall & to go fast over mistakes.

Ok Joe,

I took your words to heart and just fired off a PM to Hank Re: his 25/28 finder for sale in the classifieds. I'll let you know how it works for me.

if it still doesn't work for you after using that beautiful finder, i'll buy the finder from you.
ya know, provided i have the cash;)

The "want", it seems, has changed over time. Now, for pete's sake, I think I want an MF RF. Gotta sell some gear, first.

...okay, I'm also keen on upgrading my scanner situation. SCSI is a royal pain.

Cheers,
--joe.

ps. i still would like more time to develop film...

Aren't you getting a bit out of control here with your desires? A permanent darkroom with lots of room?

Like Frank, I keep telling myself, "I'm done." And I honestly believe it sometimes. Then I spot something in the classifieds and think, hey, I've always wanted to try out one of those! And so it goes, on and on ...

What I really, really want right now is a neck strap for my Autocord. It's the model with those funny lugs, and no normal strap fits them. There are all kinds of do-it-yourself suggestions on Internet, but I would so prefer the strap that belongs with the camera!

I'll echo the request for the permanent darkroom, space or otherwise... just a permanent darkroom would be sufficient. :)
