What's a "Half Genuine Leather Leica Case" M9 - Ebay

Is it genuine Leica? No idea.

But that reads to me like the seller wanted to say was that he is selling a half case for Leicas case made of genuine leather.

"Half Case" usually means no top to the case.
I got a M8 case from the following link and am very pleased, however note the price difference.

From the description I'd say, that it's definitely half leather

I prefer the "Genuine Leica" case which does not have the strip of leather that goes over the back of the case. The "Genuine Leica" case is easier to get on and off the camera as you do not need to work the leather strip over the screen and controls. The Leica case is reinforced and does not need the strip of leather that most of the third-party cases require.
