Can someone with an R4M please check its eyepiece and tell me if it's protected with some soft padding? Mine isn't. Just a metal ring that isn't good for my glasses. Thanks.

My R2A only has a metal eye peice as well? Should it have a rubber ring as well? and if so where can I pick one up?

I lost my original one.
I'm certain it was a metal ring, no glass.
When I got the replacement it was a metal ring with plain glass.
Never seen any rubber.
But sine it's a Nikon part perhaps there are variants.
