This camera is a II (s/n 90XXX) factory converted to a sync IIIa post war (probably)
The original s/n is engraved on the top plate underneath the v/f & r/f housing as is normal.
The camera has a baseplate in German and English with the small tripod bush.
The housing around the shutter dial has the larger indentation for the larger II dial and is of the 'older' shape.
The diopter adjustment has the smaller 'return' on it rather than the larger one seen on IIIs and IIIas.
The housing was presumably replaced when the camera was converted but can anyone tell me what the 102506 number is? (It does not obscure another number)
