What's Wrong With the Fuji 690 Series?

I paid no more than 1200 for a perfectly good Fuji G617 with the filter and it blows the Fuji 690

Where I come from, that would put the G17 in the subordinate position.

But to each his own!

Back on topic (although I have seen some splendid images with the G617) - I am new to the GW690III and have to say there is little to be found amis with it. Huge negative real estate at 6x9 and the lens (fixed though it is) would appear to be a stellar performer.

It is a stellar performer and glad you are doing a good job making it perform!

I wouldn't say that a fixed lens is a weakness. I like it that way. If you wanted interchangeable lenses, go with a GL.
