What's your 2014 1 camera, 1 lens setup?

Digital: Monochrom with 50 Summilux Asph
Film: Mamiya 7ii with 80mm loaded with Tri-X or Portra

I could spout off about all sorts of lofty intentions but the reality is I'll probably be shooting my Merrills ninety percent of the time. The digital tide has ebbed and flowed with me over the last year or so but when you're busy and need to keep taking photos so that you have some sort of creative outlet, these little cameras are very good as they allow a certain amount of creative post processing.

Not to mention they produce the best monochrome output south of an MM IMO.

Bought it just this morning: Hexar AF.. and I'll be gone with the wind.

I am going to pull the trigger on one of these very soon, and I am planning on attempting a one camera/lens project with it. It may not arrive in time for the new year, but the project intrigues me.

Now I am trying to decide on whether to make the project "one camera, one lens, one film," I just have to decide on a film!

This is it.

Fab combo.

after trying almost every type of camera i have come back full circle to a SLR and a zoom lens, the first combo that i bought when i first begun photography, although now its a DSLR.

no other camera can do what a humble dslr with a zoom lens can, when you know what you're doing, this is a fact, even though a boring and less glamorous one

2014 1 lens, 1 camera fer a year

2014 1 lens, 1 camera fer a year

Can't really see myself only using two. But if it did to happen I'd choose a Canon P with a J-3 . It just sorta just feels so "right" in my hand. The Juipter-3 deliverers all I need in a 5cm. With a wide as the choice I would go for the Nikkor 28. Another older lens that fits both my taste and my pocketbook. 😎

Come to think of it I think I'd quite like to concentrate on using a Leica Monochrom with 50mm Noct, 35mm Summilux and 75mm Summilux. I just have to come up with the twenty five G's and I'm good to go! 😀

No new gear to play with until summer: My 2013 statistic will continue by 2014.

43 % X100
34 % S100

20 % Hexar RF
3 % Vectis S-1

So mostly the X100 (just updated to 1.21: more fun guaranteed!)
