X100s for me- less is more!
If forced to do what I did in college 50 years ago, M9 + 50 1.4 ASPH `lux. I have no desire to repeat the experience.
Film...M4P 50 cron v3 or maybe a 28 biogon, Digital...Ricoh GR
Hi Kent, Giving that Bigger sensor a try...have loved all the ricoh's in the past...snap focus rules Supreme ...the grd1 was my favorite , we will see how I do with the V... My problem is getting easily bored with shooting digi even though i may like the Results 😱, go figure I'm just plain crazy
And it should be capable of that, overwhelmingly so. A few years ago I sent a handful of lenses to DAG for various tasks including calibrating focus. He noted all but one of my Leica lenses needed adjustment, including the fairly new 35 Summilux ASPH pre-FLE. Since then it has focused fine with no evidence of focus shift, and I hope yours will serve you as well!Tomorrow morning I am sending my M9p and 35mm Summilux ASPH to Leica NJ to fix the problem of NONE of my shots being in focus. I have done so many tests regarding focus shift, back focus, comparing (and buying) other lenses, etc. What I really want is the said combo to be my main/only setup.
Hmmm, for personal work it would have to be my M4-2 and 35mm pre ASPH Summilux.
Loaded with Tri-X.
Noctilux f/1.0 mounted on my M4-P, loaded with Tri-X. 😀
So far in 2014 it has been my Ricoh GR. Finding it hard to pick up any other camera at present.
