Submitted for your approval: no developer (or fixer, or...), no temperature control, no darkroom, no clean running water.... what would you do with all that unlimited supply of unprocessed film?

Bury it deep in a coconut shell so it stays cool. Never heard of a latent image?

This is easy: Polaroid. At least I can see the photos I took. And don't forget the flash to signal planes and passing ships. 🙂

I agree about the Poloroid. BUT NO ACCESSORIES IS THE RULE.

Well... I would think that some day someone will pick me up in the island and all the undeveloped film would tell my experiences in the island...
Then, for the film I choose HP5, or TX 400 or better BW400CN (any minilab can handle it), anyway, any film can do.
And for the camera... Kiev 4 with coll. Tessar 2.8 (or Jupiter 8M), or Yashica Lynx 14 / Mamiya SD 1.5 . Note: I allways use my Metraphot on any camera (needs no batteries).

Ahh, but then the cruelest twist of all. When you board the ship, and they ask you about that "stuff" that you want to load on the ship, and you tell them "HP5", "TX400", they'll look at you funny, as if you were speaking code. "Film! Haven't you ever heard of film?!" And they answer, "oh, that nondigital stuff that they outlawed a long time ago! Oh, you can't bring that back with you..." :bang:

Perhaps that wasn´t the ultimate cruelty: I would be forced also to leave the Metraphot in the island due to the toxic nature of selenium...
