Just curious, so please share.

mornings
evenings
nights
weekends only
any time always carrying camera
only events and travels
do you make time or
only when time permits
enough or
not enough
plans and scheduling
with others
etc
?

And why? No poll, just discussion.

Sunday evening before sunset. Same walk from home most times. No photograph at all, or a few. Sometimes a subject I've passed a hundred times before noticing it. When I had time, the same concept at lunchtime from work. Same route most times.

I mainly photograph at the weekends, in the UK it's black dark when I get to work and when I leave at the moment. It also rains every weekend which also puts me off haha.

I take my camera with me when I seen my baby niece (once a week). I just printed a book for my sister and parents of her first year in photographs (all film!).

I would love to have my camera at work, but I work in a college so that's not going to happen haha

When I go for a walk late afternoon just before sunset, and whenever I go to the city, which is not that often. It does depend a bit on the weather and the light, if I'm interested in a particular subject at a particular time of day.

The average house must contain so many 'photos' that are worth taking when the light is just right - all a case of being prepared to look. With the weather so bad over the past few months most of my photos seem to have been taken in the kitchen or my 'study'. A camera is usually at hand, digital card into reader, upload to computer, photos viewed within minutes.
If I go anywhere different from shopping or 'dog walk' I'll have a camera with me - sometimes I see something, most times I must miss shots.

Anytime, really, but my favorite is the first half-hour or so after sunrise, especially this time of year. And nighttime. A clear night with a full moon and no wind is magical.

Anytime I can...there are many times I'll be working in Los Angeles and when I'm done, if it's still early I'll grab whatever camera I've happen to take and head out...I'm mostly looking for whatever catches my eye...

Unfortunately these days it's quite rare that I get to plan an actually full period of time set aside just for photography. This is especially true for large format as it does take a bit of logistical planning.

To combat this I've recently bought a Ricoh GR as a pocket camera. It's a fantastic camera (worthy of the praise) and I think it will jump-start my photography a bit in terms of creativity and spontaneity.

Like young Darthfeeble, I don't do mornings... not happily at any rate! Every day year-round I walk for exercise a mile or three and always have a camera along for whatever catches my eye. This is typically in the hour or two before sunset.

I try to get into Edinburgh twice a week if I can, usually in the mornings going into the afternoon. Otherwise I go for walks around where I live these days in a rural location.

For me psychological pressure builds until it is time to photograph and serves as the impetus to get out there. If I get too busy in my life, I'll look up one day and realize it's been a while since I've done any work and I will also notice that I'm not feeling very well. So then I'll pick up the camera and work in some time shooting, but it isn't related to time of day, although weekends tend to be the usual time due to the demands of work during the week.

I only shoot b&w film, so it doesn't really matter what time of the day, and even overcast days -- that would look dull in color -- can look great on b&w film. I also carry a flash with me to extend the hours even more (after sunset).

I have my camera with me all the time, so I'm ready whenever an opportunity comes my way.
