When in Europe - Sweden

When in Europe - Sweden

I contacted Fuji Scandinavia about when they would start selling it in Sweden but they had no clue - seems like they have not internally Fuji communicated any firm plans by market yet.... Really looking forward to it arriving!

Before the end of march,

a Belgian researcher just finished an article on the ability to control your bladder and patience when buying :p

In Belgium we are not aware of the existence of this camera :-( the local bigger camerashops Grobet and Konijnenberg don't mention the camera on their sites and neither does Fuji Belgium.
Perhaps it will be imported when we, ever, get a government.

On the bright side, we are moving to Melbourne soon and there it is available in all the
online stores and almost 30% cheaper than in the UK :)

Easy: do as the Europeans do.

Japanese cameras won't work in Europe because they're made in Yen, and in most of Europe you need the Euro. If you buy them in the United States you'll have to wait for at least three years for it to become a permanent resident camera.

The battery charger is the same everywhere (just different cords). It can handle 100-240V. You can use an adapter, or just change the cord.

Thanks, I heard this with the charger. But I think the problem is more, that I don't will have a garantee, because the garantee is only for USA. I can buy a 5 year garantee by adorama for 109.90 $, but I don't like....Maybe I have no other choice than to wait still april....

The guys on the Fuji UK stand @ Focus on Imaging today said the first small shipment will arrive in Europe next week, with more stock following in 2-3 weeks. All stock is pretty much pre-ordered, not likely to be many units available for retail.

I had hoped that they'd have a stash of boxes on the stand today, but no luck. I did however see people sprinting when the doors opened to get their hands on the demo units!

I ask me, where are this small shipment preordered? I saw only amazon Uk with the preorder option. I have preordered one by fuji switzerland, but that means they will send me an email, when the camera is in stock. the website say april....

One of the vendors at the Focus show was selling today for £999; still one in the window when I left.

I was told on Friday by Fuji UK directly that they should start arriving for sale in retail outlets from the 8th. But I guess we'll see.

Anybody found already a shop which would carry it in Netherlands or Belgium or Germany? Or France or ... somewhere?
