As you alluded to earlier, you have some issues which really aren't the fault of the camera. Obsessive compulsive disorder is crippling your enjoyment of this camera. You need to shoot some film and enjoy it, or return it and move on. It's not healthy to maintain the status quo. I wish you all the best.

If you are happy with the M6, I would sell the MP and consider yourself lucky for liking the cheaper one better.
