and, yes, I do have the M6, I look at the stuff I've shot with the G2 over the years. I've been drooling over the 75/2 and 90/2 Summicrons but realize that the results with those lenses will not be any better than those taken with my 90/2.8 Sonnar and the G2, so the urges quickly go away. Silly post, yes, but I just thought I'd share some feelings. 🙂

When I get it, I usually compare prices of Leica lens hoods against the 45 Planar, and the feeling passes.... 🙂

Judging from the quality of your work, Charles, you don't need Leica, unless you want to.

Thanks, Tom...the G2 has served me well. 🙂 I sometimes suffer from "the grass is awlays greener" syndrome, but usually snap out of it quickly. I got sucked up into the digital world but have safely returned to using film as much as I can. Most models I work with these days don't want prints, just CDs, so digital is quick and easy, but for everything else...film.
