the snow must go on
Sorry, no time for shooting for me. Gotta stay on e-bay.
Awfully kind of you, sir. Glad you enjoyed it.GeneW said:Excellent blog, Mark, with interesting writing and a lot of fine photography. Enjoyed your summary of the latest Potter.

If the weather in Surrey's anything like what I'm seeing out the window just now... good luck with that 🙂stephen_lumsden said:Plan to try some country shots with Velvia on the Yashica Mat for a change if it get sunny at all here in Surrey, UK.

You just reminded me: it's August on Monday, and there's nothing quite like Edinburgh in August - all the various Festivals, with carnivals, parades, street parties, street performers... and that's just the outdoors stuff.johne said:Summer Festival is in full swing here.

What a blast that will be ... one of my dreams to attend that one. And I'm partial to the pipes, so attending the tattoo would be great for me.Goodyear said:You just reminded me: it's August on Monday, and there's nothing quite like Edinburgh in August - all the various Festivals, with carnivals, parades, street parties, street performers... and that's just the outdoors stuff.
I have a plan to go through rather a lot of film. 😀

So I went to that Asian festival, disappointing at first b.c it was indoors and kinda thin, but I found some good people to shoot. Took a roll of Portra 400 UC on the Rapid Omega -- some lil' kids martial arts (too cute), big peoples' martial arts (pretty flashy), and a hula hoop contest (with the cutest lil' girl and a lovely elderly woman in colorful outfits). Went to change the back -- what? I never took the darkslide out?! :bang:
Hopefully I got some stuff in black and white.
