Where do u focus when shooting street?

I should really read the links you guys provide before asking questions....the difference is explained in the link....but thanks also for the explanations.

As my 35mm Summicron has a focusing tab, I am also finding this helpful for judging distance based on tab location.

I still like the idea of direct focusing so that my intended subject is in complete focus but zone focusing will definitely help to be in the zone before that last minute focus adjustment.
