Where's the film-only choice? 😀
Pete 100% analogue (although I could achieve equally poor results with digital)

The Wall Street Journal has a nice article today about the recent increase in vinyl record sales (up 36% last year). Aside from the increased quality compared with CDs, the audiophiles interviewed also prefer vinyl because of its tactile qualities as well as the better cover art. I felt like I was reading a RFF thread, just substitute film for vinyl. But one of the audiophiles admitted that when he/she is doing housework and wants to listen to light music, he/she clips on a MP3 player.

It's sixty two °F and kinda cloudy - filtered sun - some shadows, but very diffuse. Should warm up over the next few hours to 70°F or so.

ps, 50/50

I'm amazed at photographers like Tom A who can walk outside & can make camera settings according to conditions. Filtered sun reminded me of this. 🙂

Plan is to finally this year make a buck off my photography, starting as a 'traditional portrait photographer'.

Got the printer ready to do some home printing, have an assignment out to have a logo designed, have an assignment out for a newly-designed website, this is gonna be it.

So, mainly film for professional, mainly film for hobby.

Its about 0 C here, and drizzly rain/snow. Ugh.

I am not professional, but I am in marketing and work with a lot professionals who do mostly product and advertisement photography. I just can't imagine using film nowdays in that kind of setting.
