Where is the film speed indicator on a Canon Model P?

I've looked all over the camera body and can't find it.

It should be on the back of the camera. It's just a reminder mechanism since the camera doesn't have a meter.

I’m pretty sure it is on the film door on the back. There’s even a little cut out in the ever ready case to see it.

That's all you need. The P has no built-in meter, so the dial just tells you what film speed you set.

Indicator = something that tells the camera what speed film is loaded.
Reminder = something to tell the operator what speed film is loaded.

My Vl-T has a film type indicator dial on the rear door. The camera manual (page 18) certainly shows the "film type indicator".

OK, my 'definition' is incorrect.
I have a 'film type indicator' on the back of mine too, but I see it as more of a reminder than an 'indicator' which communicates with the camera mechanism to tell it what is loaded.
