Where is the highest concentration of RFF members in the world?

I don't know the answer, but I ran into an RFF member at a Boston Market restaurant in Phoenix once - AND recognized him from his avatar. The member density MUST be high here for that to happen, eh?

I took a random photo in Amsterdam.The image showed 2-3 people. I then later found out that the main person in that image was a RFF here. He identified himself.
What are the chances that such an event occurs?
Do we have RFF members everywhere on the globe?
Are we really 1,000,000 members but we are unaware of this fact?

I'm thinking there must be quiet a few in the Pacific Northwest. From Portland to BC and Seattle in the middle.

I'd guess the greatest concentration may be the NYC area, which I'd include northern New Jersey in.

Folks from Toronto more friendly than NYers? This might be the case. However a more interesting one to us out in the land of light and love, i.e., the West Coast, is the relative friendliness of those on the East Coast versus those out here. We out here often claim to be happier more fulfilled humans who radiant love and compassion like the sun sends forth light rays. Do the Easterners see themselves as busy, with no time for beauty or love or the good green and blue of the world? Do Easterners see themselves as rushing through life, as political animals? These are just some of the West Coast stereotypes of the grumpy, busy and rushing Easterners.
Are Westerners just rednecks, dope smokers and tree huggers who surf and hike and fish? Hehe 🙂

Here in Bisbee, AZ, population 6,500, there are three of us: Myself, Desertshooter, a fellow RFF member; and Matt Cook, an amazingly knowledgeable Leica guy with more Leicas than anyone I know. And that's probably it for Cochise County (which is bigger than a couple of New England states).

Here in Philly we have an active group of about of 3 with about two to three additional people who have attended intermittently. We meet about 3 to four times a year. At this point the regulars seem to be BenMacphoto, Al Patterson, me, and NickTrop when he is able to attend. We have also had Huffy, Thambar, at a few meetings with interest expressed by others. It's a good bunch of people.

Well, it's nifty to see RFF playing with the idea of being a social network. Here's a link to a mapping tool up there in the cloud that will allow anyone who wants to put a pin in a virtual map right where you live. I did one for me. You all can, too. Then we will see just where the largest concentration of RFFers (who wish to play this mildly silly and innocuous game) reside. Here's the link:

Well, I take part in a small Laica group in Vienna (of 3 people)... I am the only one from Bratislava... but for sure there are many more crazy people around... I saw the day before yesterday a boy shooting two girls with a TLR Flexaret...
