I'm off to Scotland at the beginning of July for a one week holiday in Edinburgh. As I'm flying up there from London I want to travel light and buy film locally. Any good tips for buying film (35mm & 120) in Edinburgh?

Thanks

Well there's Calumet in Tenant Street, and Camerabase in Morningside. I don't think either will be very cheap though and they may be the only place to get 120. Those are the only photographic shops left in Edinburgh.

If you want 35mm C41 though you can get Agfa Vista 200 in Poundland for £1 a roll.

Stills gallery on Cockburn Street in the centre of town has started selling film.
Probably the cheapest in town. Camerabase is very expensive, their film and film camera prices are like pre-digital prices!

Yes I heard the stills gallery in Cockburn Street has started selling film. I was reading somewhere recently that Boots has started selling film as well. I believe there's a Boots in Princess Street but don't know if they have film. Stefan

Thanks guys, I'm flying off tomorrow morning and decided to take a few rolls of tri-x with me just in case, and travelling light I'm limiting myself to just my Leica IIIf and a couple of lenses.
