Any Polaroid shooters out there still shooting Polaroid film?
I'm looking for Polaroid 600 film for an SX-70 but can't seem to find any in bulk - the stuff on eBay is extremely overpriced at US$68 per roll.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Also looking for Polaroid 8x10 film if anyone (gasp) knows where the last few remaining packs might be...

Sorry, I should have made it clear that I'm only looking for original Polaroid stock film. So far, I'm still not impressed enough with the Impossible Project film's results. Watery, washed out and totally lacking in contrast and vibrancy. I'm sure they'll get there one day but for now, I need me some Polaroid stock!

You're out of luck, then. Impossible is the only company manufacturing new integral film for the SX-70. There is still some Polaroid stock out there, but, as you've found, it sells for a premium.
Of course you could always pick up an older Land camera and shoot peel-apart. Plenty of that available from Fuji:

And by now most of the remaining original Polaroid stock is pretty out of date, and so is washed out and lacks contrast or vibrancy...
Give some of the B&W stuff from Impossible a try- much higher quality now than the first runs- when I recently shot the first of their color film I was kinda confused as to why it was in color- I'm so used to an SX-70 being B&W now.

Yeah, it seems like it's an incredibly hard item to find - particularly the 8x10 versions. Literally impossible!
If anyone does have any old-stock, expired Polaroid, please know there is always a user right here who is always looking for some!
Thanks for the thoughts guys, I will give the Impossible Project another go - you're right, the B&W stuff has improved a lot recently.
