There is one up on eBay currently from but it's several hundred dollars (USD) more than what it sells for at camera shops in Japan and even a few hundred more than what Epson Japan sells it for directly. 
Does anyone know of another source for the new Epson R-D1x that ships outside of Japan? I've been waiting for this ever since it was announced but now I'm not so sure. I don't think I could justify it at that price.

I don't know of another seller, but you may want to consider warranty service in addition to the purchase price. Since it is a Japan-only camera, service will probably only be provided "in Japan"--which usually means they will accept units only from addresses within Japan. So you might inquire with Matsuiyastore and see if they are providing a kind of extended warranty service to buyers outside of Japan. That might help you reconcile the extra money with extra peace of mind.

I don't know if http://www.japanexposures.com/shop/ will carry it, but (besides the fact that it's digital) it's the kind of product they would carry. Might want to contact them
