Where to find a roughly used m6

part of me is regretting passing on that beat up m6 for $1200 for sale here last month.... Now I wait patiently for such another opportunity.

Today, after much delay -all my fault, I spoke with a repairman in Saigon referred to me by an RFF member. To repair a wobbly 28mm Zeiss lens. If it goes well, I'll bring him my M6 for a CLA as well. Cheers, Peter

Sometimes I regret that I didn't buy an M6 when they could be had for 800€ or so (5 or 6 years ago). I think the window of opportunity to get one for a reasonable price has closed, and the prices will go up in the territory where the other hyped dream cameras from the 90ies are - Hasselblad Xpan, Contax T3, Mamiya 7...

But my Minolta CLE that I bought at that time instead is still going strong - the best purchase I've ever made in classic cameras. Even if it fails some day, I shot more rolls with it than with any other camera I own. Used cameras are always a gamble, so enjoy them while you can.

That's the price in A$ (A$800) I paid on ebay 6 years ago. Battery terminals just needed a slight clean-up with a pencil rubber (erasor for our U.S. residents} and it's been working perfectly ever since.
