Where to get iiif CLA'd in Australia?

Do you have any suggestion on who in Australia does CLA work on LTM cameras?

If I need to look further afield, can any of the locals suggest who you use.
(Have to say that I am surpised at the number of Australians who post here!)

There is a guy in Adelaide who has been working on Leica kit for years. From memory his name is Charles Bridgewood. He is located in a southern Adelaide suburb and Leica shops from around Oz seem to use him for their CLA and repair work. When I was more heavily into Leica than I am today I occasionally used to visit his home / workshop and it was fascinating to see him surrounded by classic cameras - often in pieces. Not just Leica either. I seem to recall one occasion him having a very nice Contarex Bullseye under service. Google his name and the word Leica and you will see lots of hits. I think Charles has a good rep as I recall it.

I'd contact Charles Woodhouse, a member here (page 16 of member's list). I've never had any work done by him, but he seemed like a real competent, straight-up guy in correspondence when I sold a camera to him .

I've had Charles Woodhouse (in Brisbane) do two IIIf's I own. He did an excellent job at very reasonable rates and corrected a couple of things a previous repairer had neglected to identify. He also made and fitted new shutter curtains to one of them. I'd certainly recommend him. I'm in Sydney but I sent my Leica IIIg to Youxin Ye in the US with a very quick turnaround - and great value for the excellent work he does, too.

I remember last time when I had to send my Leica IIIf RD ST for a Full CLA, it turn out that it was cheaper to send it to Youxin Ye instead.

Anyway, I'm sure that Charles Woodhouse would do as good as Youxin Ye ;-)

Thanks everyone for your replies, they are most helpful.

I just put my first roll through a IIIf (first through a Leica for that matter), and as I thought, the slow speeds are off. Nevertheless, the little Elmar performs wonderfully;
I'm glad I finally acquired one of these classics.
