I called Freestyle yesterday as I was placing the order to confirm that R09 is indeed Rodinal formula, they swore up and down that their lab tested R09 chemical content and film development with it and it is Rodinal as we know it.

I thought of going back to HC110 or D76 while waiting for Rodinal to arrive, but just can't bring myself to doing it. I'm just hooked on Rodinal look and mixing flexibility and there's no way back 😉

Rodinal supplies in the UK are also renamed as R09 now. Shame about the name but if it is the same well respected brew then it makes no difference as long as it has the same lovely effect on film...
