I've hung around the forum for a while and made a few posts but I've yet to post any images. I thought it might be fun to do so but when I started looking for a place to actually post an image I realized I really don't know where to start. A lot of other forums have theme based categories but that doesn't seem to be the case here. The other alternative is in one of the "camera" categories but I'm shooting with a pseudo-rangefinder; a Leica Digilux 2.

So, any thoughts as to where I might start? Given my gear, what category would be appropriate for a general interest photo?

Is this the "only" category to post images in? Doesn't seem like it but I'm unclear as to what the accepted practice is. Just out of curiousity; where would D2 images normally be posted? Thanks...

Hi LKeithR,

we're quite a friendly bunch here, I'm pretty confident you won't get battered (too much 😛) for posting Digilux-2 photos in the topic-related threads.

Assuming you will be getting the RF bug in the (near) future, that is 😉

Good to know. I really didn't think it would be a problem but I wanted to get an idea of what to do...

I suppose you could say I've already got the bug or I wouldn't be here. Thirty years ago (give or take) I had a nice little Hexar AF which I inherited from my Grandfather. Sadly, I became possessed by the SLR demons and sold it--something I regret to this day. I'd love to get back into a RF but I really want something digital and, of course, at the moment options are very limited. It would be very nice if someone would produce an entry to mid-level digital RF that allowed the use of Leica glass. I'm hoping but not holding my breath...
