Where to purchase M3?

I know that there are many sites, including the ebay, where one may look to find an M3. Is it permissible on this forum to offer recommendations? I would like as near perfect mechanically and as good as possible cosmetically M3. I suppose one may find one at a repair person's shop or web shop?
Kindly help me find my wonderful M3. Finally, if I were to indulge myself and purchase instead a new MP, what dealers would you suggest?
Happy Holidays to all!

I've bought a lot of M-gear from KEH (keh.com). As far as a new MP try one of the advertisers here. Links to the left.

Subscribe to the 35mm Cameras for sale here at RFF. Be prepared to POUNCE on a really nice M3 as soon as it is listed here for sale. Choose Subscribe and instant notification.

In the meantime, as Colyn suggests, talk to the RFF sponsors about a used M3 or new or used MP.

The Leica Users Group mailing list has for sale ads on Friday. Notification via email.

Don't know where you live, but there is a perfect MP and a decent M3 for sale in Portland, OR at 2 different camera shops. The MP is so perfect that the staff aren't even sipposed to touch it unless they see cash in hand ;-)
They let me hold it though 🙂

our RFF sponsor, Popflash, has a SS M3 body going for a grand.
our esteemed moderator Joe must have turned it down, even if it was selling for 3 dollars.

There is another great one for US 800 for sale, in red snake skin.

😱

The M3 lasted a few nanoseconds. 10 minutes to be precise. Like I said, you have to subscribe to several lists. Check your email 24/7. Be ready to POUNCE!

OK, we've given you plenty of sources. Did you buy the M3 yet?

I now know that I can visit many sites and be somewhat discriminating. I will let everyone know when I do buy one. An MP sure is tempting...but then, it wouldn't be an M3! Thank you Leica folks for steering me in the right direction. PC

True. The MP will accept several varietes of 35mm lenses. From the petite to the robust. From the old to the modern. From the slow to the swift.
