Which brand of and type of adapter do you use?

I have an el-cheapo no name M mount and EF mount. That's gives me access to most of my lenses on X mount.

I use the Fuji M-to-X mount adapter, the Hawk's heliocoid adapter for close-focusing M-mount lenses, a Fotodiox Nikon F-to-X mount adapter, and I just recently got the Metabones Speed Booster for Nikon lenses on the Fuji bodies.

I use the Fuji M adapter, plus Fotodiox for Nikon. I also have a few Fotodiox adapters for m43 and have been very happy with the quality.

Cheers,
Kirk

Just got a plunge on a Xpro set a RFF member had on classifieds.
The main reason.. to use a Metabone M adapter AND the Nikon S to M adapters (normal and Wide) from Amadeo.
Amadeo was kind enough to made a Wide adapter centered for the X Pro :)

So, has soon I got all of them in tandem on the X Pro ... I'll post some pics!

I'm tired of waiting for the Nikon SPD, for some reason they don't get the message like Fuji did.

Oh wow, I have about 30 or so different adapters!

Nikon, Zuiko OM, LeicaR, C/Y and some others to EOS
About 10 different systems to NEX
LeicaM, M39, c-mount and Pentax-110 to m4/3
About 6 different systems to Nikon1
Some to PentaxK and some to NikonF

I love to adapt lenses to cams! ;-)

Lately I have found the fotodiox pro line to be good. My newest adapter for the Fuji is the metabones speedbooster for Nikon, which I love.

I just got my XE1 so I am trying out a few different adapters and such, I am surprised to find for the Fuji X mount that very few brand name adapters are available where I am. There are some Novoflex, Kipon (which I dont hear good thing about) and the Fuji ones they make then everything else is cheapo no name stuff.

I also saw some Chinese made speed booster like things made by a company named Mitakon/ZhongYi, they are cheap at about 120 dollars and I have seen a few reviews where they compare them to the metabones adapters and there seems to be little in the way of loss for the money.

Does anyone have the problem where an M adapter does not align the top center of the lens with the top center of the camera? For instance one of my lenses has a square hood and it was obvious that the adapter was not aligned to let the lens stop straight.

Some, but not all, of these adapters have set screws. Loosen it and then rotate lens to desired position. :)

Fotodiox adapters have been my favorite low-cost adapters. I've owned many of them and they've all worked perfectly.

Indeed. The Kiwi ones and the one by FOTGA are also pretty good, esp. Kiwi.

I am selling all my NEX-adapters since I have sold all my NEX cams.

They were replaced by the Fuji X-E1 very recently and I have got two Leica M - Fuji X adapters already (one with and one without a focus helocoid). The delivery pf a PK-X- and an EOS-X-adapter is pending. ;)
