And I'm restricting this to film cameras, as most of tge digitals have no sound or sound mostly the same.
For me, the AK47 - like semi auto, fully mechanical sound of the Leningrad is unsurpassable.
But then also the Salyut-S has a mighty "smack". And on the othe side of the scope, the quiet, ferfect mechanics of the Leica M3...

Whatever
Being that I just picked up a Bronica S2a, that’s where my vote goes. It’s a combination of a THWAP! and a KECHUNK! Photographic artillery at its finest

The RB67 is like a car door closing. Ke-chunk....makes the sound of the big mirror swinging up and the baffle opening. The shutter in the lens actually is the quietest part of the camera firing.
My favourite though has to be the Nikon F shutter. It just sounds right (even compared to F2 which is somehow more tinny)..

Part of me wants to say Nikon S2, but I have to agree it’s the F. Very interesting thing to capture and put on the web. Anyone looking for another hobby that requires you to buy cameras?

Well put. It’s an incredibly satisfying sound.

Worst ever is my Fuji GW690III. SPROING just does not cut it.
I've thought the Pentax 6x7 sounds like the clap of doom...

I love the "THWUP!" of a Zorki 4's curtains. Soooo satisfying.

I did 'Wedding Photography" the Leica M3 was almost silent..
I usually showed ministers the camera and it's good behavior, not mine!
I was almost always allowed to make exposures..
Arrival of Pros using Mamiya RB's was a thunderstorm, the Hasselblads causing sound of an auto collision.
The Rolleiflex was so quiet, walking into silent funerals, keeping the mood.

I used a 12XP for years. The distance the shutter button has to travel is unbelievable. The sound has a continuous "dingggg" after the mirror has come down.

SLR-wise, the EOS-5. So quiet for an AF-SLR if that vintage - you can hear the shutter hitting the shutter bumpers more than you hear the shutter itself.
The Leica IIc is tiny bit more quiet. I like the sound, a quiet and assertive "Cluck".

I've always liked the way Hasselblads sound.
A big Copal 3 shutter also sounds great. I also like the sound of the Prontor Professional shutters especially when you change the shutter speed since they're self cocking.
A well maintained Leica M at 1/30th or 1/15th.
Mamya RZ67.
Pentax 67 and its loud clap.

BTW, is Analogic a new word? I like the Logic part, but I can do without Ana.

It’s the soft and silky sounding shutter of the postwar Contax iia and iiia.
No doubt about that.

The Chinon and derivatives - my Prinzflex STTL 1972 , copal square shutter - almost unbreakable !
[ I actually preferd it over a more expensive Pentax Spotmatic ]
