I see that you just got a Konica (from the other thread). It's definitely not Konica (but you know that, I am sure). What troubles me is that I see no prongs or levers protruding from the lens mount itself, which makes me wonder how the lens is supposed to work -- what couples it to the camera's shutter and aperture mechanisms? Did the lens come with a rear lens cap that might give a clue -- any letters molded on the lens cap (or other identifier) that would help?

Exakta? Just guessing but it seems a bit like it. Though if it’s Chinnon then PK is more likely. I don’t have one at hand.

The little "U" shaped cutout in the first pic at the 4 o'clock position says Nikon to me, but it does seem to missing some prongs or levers to communicate with.

Maybe... a Nikon mount but not a Nikkor/Nikon lens.

Third party. It doesn't look 'expensive'. Generic, 1980s. There were many Nikon knock-offs then. I've not seen any of those around in a long time. Likely they long ago all wore out and/or fell apart. Many weren't worth buying even when new. As I know...

Can the OP find a Nikon camera somewhere and try it??

Not Nikon neither ai or ais the cutout is missing on the aperture ring or rabbit ears for pre ai. the lens does not communicate to the camera, maybe it is a franken- job.
