Which camera do you want that isn`t currently made?

Wide open question... but keep it sensible. Film or digital, doesn`t matter. But include what the camera would be like and the reason why you`d love to have it.

I have two... one is simple. I`d like an Olympus XA in digital form. Exact camera (as much as this is possible). Basically a pocket-able digital rangefinder camera.

Another is a Ricoh GR (or Fujifilm XF10) with a 45-50mm lens. I want a true pocketable camera with a large sensor, a 45-50mm lens, and fast autofocus.

All of my other gear is great... but I want that true pòcket camera that fits exactly what I like. Something about pocket cameras does it for me and I`m ready for a 45-50mm option that works well in low light.

PS: I mean cameras that have never been made...that are not available to buy anywhere.

The 6x7 format is my jam. I shoot a Horseman Convertible 842 (which I love dearly) and which is very portable. But to have an 80mm 2.8 lens on a portable camera to go along with that, that would be awesome...

There are nikon S to Leica M mount converters, so you could still use old nikon glass while having an absolute raft of leica m mount lenses to use, as well.

Leica Monochrome economy version. EOS like plastic body, limited interface, limited resolution, limited framelines. No ports. First generation Sony A7 sensor with removed what-ether to make it Monochrome. And made by same factory where Leica makes batteries in China. Or at KMZ in Krasnogorsk. To keep it at minimum price. 😛

Not a specific camera, but any digital with Canon's old DEP mode. Not the useless A-DEP. Because sometimes you want more control over DoF and you don't want to do it by trial and error or use a tape measure and a DoF app on your phone.

An Olympus OM-1 in digital that uses the old OM lenses, but not with an adapter if it is mirrorless. And if mirrorless, then focus peaking like a Sony (which I think is better than Oly's peaking).

2. Square sensor camera, full frame image circle, tilting LCD screen with a waist-level folding hood, short flange distance.

3. A Micro 4/3 technical camera like an Alpa.

4. Something like the Zeiss ZX1 with an APS-C sensor, $1300.

5. A vertical grip for the Panasonic GX9. Just the grip!
