Which company has the best looking cameras?

Ha - they look soooo bored though.

Their eyes might brighten if you pulled out your M9 titanium. 🙂

The mind boggles at what the Leica equivalent would be ....

Not too hard to imagine... just take Leica characteristics and imagine them as a person. Born in 1925, reliable, tough, unconventional beauty (form follows function), has been everywhere... sounds like quite a fetching lass! 😱

assuming all black finish, then Leica make the best looking RF, followed by Nikon and Contax RF in that order. Nikon made the best SLR, the OM1 though is close, a fabulous system design concept in all respects IMHO.

I voted Nikon, as Alpa was not an available choice. Nor Arca Swiss, Ebony, Chamonix, Tachihara and Gandolfini. Leica's are nice, but there are prettier RF´s though, even CV Bessas are nicer in my mind. Historically I think Contax I/II and Nikon M/S win the RF beauty contest hands down.

Hasselblad for consistency in form and function in both film and digital.

However, since Hasselblad was not an option, I did not vote.

This guy's DIY is probably one of the prettiest cameras I've ever seen:

But, I have to say Leica for their M series if I have to pick a company 🙂

Even though Pentax has made some ugly cameras, such as the SF-1, I think the MX is a touch better looking than Oly's OM series. Come to think of it though, Olympus has created some ridiculously ugly cameras as well.

I like some of the older Nikons, especially the RF's and the 35 Ti is sweet, but I'm put off by that red logo-ish design on their modern dslr's.

All in all though, I find Leicas to be damn fine looking overall. Now, if some Leica dealer would just give me one I'd really wax poetic. lol
