Which eye do you use to focus?

Since getting my camera. I tend to use my left eye through the VF. With glassess, I tend to get smudge prints on my right lens from the back of my thumb.

Saw some images of others using their right eye to focus, but when I tried that. It seemed that my nose wanted to rest at the side of the camera throwing the look from the VF off a little.

Probably better to use the right eye leaving me an added view with my left if needed. Just feels a touch odd though

It seems like I instinctively use my left eye, but sometimes the right. I can usually focus with or without glasses.

Right eye. It is my dominant eye, or so says my ophthalmologist. Using the left eye is really uncomfortable. LCD screens do get pretty smudgy from being pressed up against my nose.

I focus with the thumb and index finger of my left hand, but I look into the viewfinder with my left eye.

Left eye. Because I'm mostly lefty to start with, and my right eye (either retina or nerve) is messed up from childhood and it can't be used for anything by itself.

100% left eye. Although, I can use my right eye if I consciously make myself (but whats the point).

I had a friend who claimed to use the mysterious "third eye" but I go with my "right" eye.
