Just for fun... The poll only allows 12 entries so I had to group some FL's. From this list, there are four FL's that I do NOT have:

15mm
21mm
28mm
40mm

I've 21mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm & 90mm lenses. The only focal length I'm interested in is 28mm. That's coz my M6 And CLE both have 28mm frame lines, thus eliminating that need for an external viewfinder. I'm considering the CV Ultron 28/2 or the Zeiss 28/2.8. Would really love having a 28mm Summicron or Elmarit but those are way out of my budget right now 🙁

Currently I have: 35, 50, 75. The 75 will go soon, and I'll go down to one rather than two 35's. A 35 (ZM C-Biogon) and a fast 50 are all I really need for the RF kit. I might get a ZM 25 Biogon at some point…

Less is more.

For use on Leica RFs I have 25, 35, 50, 90, 135 and for Viso use, 65, 125, 200, 280 and 400.

Still trying to wear them out with almost daily use, but I know they'll comfortably outlive me no matter how often I use them... !

Counting them all, it is more than I thought (or like). At least when cumulated across all RF systems I have, whether fixed or interchangeable, obscure or popular, and including the Contax G1 among them (or the 90mm would fall off the list).

Going through it I must admit I have not that much for RF in the ultrawide department - seems I'm not really one of those people with auto-leveling built in. Somewhere below 75° horizontal AoV (past 24mm) I will regularly screw up the horizon in unpredicted/unintended ways, unless I use a tripod (at which point I'll switch to LF or a panoramic camera), or a SLR with grid screen. Oddly enough I have accumulated two 135mm RF lenses, even though that may be the focal length I like the least...

I have just bought Elmarit 28mm (type 3) - I was happy to pay 590 EUR for a clean copy with the hood. So now I have 28/35/50/90. The guy who sold me 28mm said he is not using anything else than 35mm (therefore selling). I was thinking that myself I rarely use 90mm but I am afraid if I sell it I can regret later (and you never know if you can buy back at similar price).

Out of the list, the only ones I DON'T have are 24/25mm, 40mm, 85mm and 105 mm -- but I also don't have 12mm (Voigtländer), 16mm (Zeiss), 19mm (Canon), 20mm (Russar), 33mm (Leica stereo), 60mm (?Konica), 73mm (Hektor), 100mm (?Canon) 125mm (Hektor), 127mm (Wollensak), 180mm Zeiss, 200mm Komura... There are no doubt others I don't have, even among lenses I have in the past owned, and the list above is just the RF coupled lenses. Let in the Visoflex lenses, or uncoupled lenses, to say nothing of Tri-Elmars and the like, and there are lots more.

Cheers,

R.
