I don't currently have anything wider than 28mm or longer than 90mm. I used to have a VC 21mm f/4, but it was a terrible lens on the M9, so I sold it.

From my own experience and some general observation... for those whose primary lens is a 35mm, it seems like their preferred WA is 24/25mm, while for those whose primary lens is 50mm, the WA of choice is 28mm.
I used to shoot a lot with the 35mm and preferred the 25mm for WA; when I started to gravitate to the 50mm, I started to find the 35mm useless and started to shoot quite a bit with the 28mm for WA, and sometimes, even as my primary lens.
You're probably right. I either walk out the door with a combo of 35mm+75mm or 28mm+50mm and very rarely do I mix those combos up.

I do not have an 18mm because I won't pay current prices for Leica lenses. I don't have 24/25 or 40 because they are too close to lenses I already own (21,28 and 35,50 respectively).

Love my 50s. Unless I have another specific reason I always carry a 50.
During softball/baseball I use my 90 and 135 quite a bit.
During my occasional street moods I carry my CV25.
When I want to slide my ZI in my pocket I use my MS Optical 35 or 28.
Even if I do own other focal lengths they are used so rarely I may as well not own them at all.

I was surprised, given all the mentions of it on RFf, how few have the 40mm.
40mm is a compelling focal length and I have several. In the years after I got my CLE, the M-Rokkor was my most-used lens. I prefer using a 40mm viewfinder with a 40mm lens; in the absence of a matching viewfinder I'm just as happy using 35mm or 50mm. As far as others share this preference, I can see how it tends to inhibit use of 40mm...

I have a Contax G2, so I have 21, 28, 35, 45, and 90 lenses. The 16 is just such an odd fish, and so ridiculously expensive for what it is, and the 35-70 zoom for the G series is another odd fish in that it's slow, and covers the same range as three of the primes for the G series that are considered some of the best lenses ever made for 35mm.

These are the lenses I have, listed in descending order of use:
50, 35, 90, 15
I'd most like a 28, charmed by multiple, temporarily-operational GR-1's, and would probably sacrifice the 15 to make it happen.

All but 50mm. I only have one 35mm RF and one lens for that camera. It's a 50mm DR Summicron mated to a Leica M4.

I only have 35mm.
Considering buying a 50mm, but don't really know if/when it'll happen…

The poll states that you have these lenses or NOT have?
Why is 18mm the favorite focal length, and 50mm the least chosen? It is the other way around. Right?

Hi Raid - NOT have, which is why the 35 and 50 have the lowest totals. I guess others, especially those who probably shoot on 1 or 2 FL's found it easier to respond with what they have as opposed to what they do not have.
It's all good.

I really only like working with one focal length and get confused when I have to choose. Right now for my leica I have a 35mm voigtlander, and a 50mm Elmar-M. I just finished a body of work using the 50mm for most of it and buying the 35mm at the tail end. Even on my nikon digital which I have a very wide range of hand-me-down lenses for I never really take more than one lens with me when I leave the house.

I have a 21, a 28, two 50s and a 90. This set of lenses does pretty much everything I need it to do.
Still, I would like to have the Voigtlander 35/1.2 ASPH Nokton for its very shallow depth of field.
