which iphone meter app?

I've been using the same one as ferider mentioned above. It got me out of trouble the other night. using my OM2 I couldn't see the lightmeter needles in my VF too well so I reverted to the App on my iPhone. BTW, I figured the $1.19 charge to get rid of the banner ads was worth it.

same here - as long as you've got enough light for the iphone camera's sensetivity, it's great. i've pretty much stopped carrying the digisix or luna pro sbc for casual carry with the IIIf, and still sanity-check the CL with it. the price for the ad-free version, as said, is a huge bargain.

that said, it's a reflected light meter only, so the 'real' ones come out when needed yet.

Good Lord! Well, if it works, fine. But surely, if they're free, why not just try all of them?

Cheers,

R.

Dear Roger,

the one application mentioned by Roland works fine and is free, others are not (not that I would be aware of) . :) So if it is free it costs less than the Weston Meter you have mentioned. ;)

Cheers,

Gabor

I'm using the same one as everyone else up there. And it works just fine. (I paid to remove the banner ads too.)
Can't beat the price. :)

I couldn't get it to work reliably for me and deleted it. I paid the 1.19 and bought the guy a beer. Too slow and tedious. I must have set it wrong. I am surprised how many are leaving their other meters at home.

It seems to work fine for me, it agrees with my nikon d40 every time. It's the only light meter app with any real amount of reviews, and it's free.

Agree it is a marvel. Just downloaded it because of the recommendations above.
With aperture stops in thirds it has saved me the cost of a Valoo (?) for my Elmar 50mm f3.5
This dear old lens comes with those tricky stops of f4.5 - f6.3 - f9 and f18.
I can use this app. to give me aperture priority with the Elmar on the IIIf - hooray!

Alexnotalex: how do you take a screen shot of the reading?
