Shaken, so blurred
I voted for the 50. About 1/3rd of my photos are taken with a long tele-zoom on a DSLR, about 1/3 with a 50 - whether on film or digital, SLR or RF - leaving the remaining 1/3rd for everything else.

For quite a few years I used nothing but a 28mm lens on my 35mm cameras and I considered a 50mm to be a short telephoto lens. After joining RFF I started using a 35mm Biogon mostly with 21mm and 50mm occasionally. Now I find that I mostly use a 50mm lens. I think my choice of focal lengths has changed largely because of various influences from members of RFF and my experiences here on these pages. I am very greatful, but I have to say that it's cost me a lot of money. - jim

These days a common combo for me is 2 m-bodies with a 35 and a 75 for a bit of extra reach, or 35 and a 21 if I'm feeling wide..

Just back to this thread, I've been shooting with the 35 and 50 the most lately, 28 close behind, and 21 next in the pack.
