Which M would you LIKE to own?

One more poll.

Every M owner will vote for the Ms he's got when asked which M is his favorite, or which M is best, etc. It results in nice overviews of how many different M's are owned by us, RFF members.

But now a different question: which classic M would you like to own? Not one that you already have , but one you don't have (yet). Only ONE choice!!!

I assume everyone wants to try an MP, so you can't vote for that one, and neither for the M1, MDa, MD2, and the exotics (MP3, M6-Bangkok🙂 , LHSAs, etc)

I'm lucky enough to have an M4 and M5, so I think an M7 is the logical choice for me, to give auto-exposure a try.

Before I had a Leica M I wanted an MP most of all. Now I have an M7 I don't want another M except a fictional one; a full frame digital M with film settings such as Velvia 50, Tri-X, Fuji 1600, Reala ... and no screen. Not going to happen, is it.

Anyway, I didn't vote because I'm content with what I have. Famous last words...

I'm lucky enough to have two M7s but what I would really like is an M9. That would be an M7 with a quieter version of the M8 shutter. To me the M7 is perfect except for the 1/1000s top speed. 1/4000s would be very nice with some of these fast lenses.

A-la-carte black MP with 0.85 finder and M7 style rewind lever... OK, an M6 classic with the 0.85 finder would be good too and wouldn't cost more than an M8.

seems that the one camera everyone says they're interested in you have intentionally deleted. I don't see how this poll tells anyone much based on your exclusion of the MP. How about one for "all M series cameras" but "excluding the M4's and M3's" that would make more sense.
