Which One ? FSU

Tom,

No I post some of my "step back" macro shots on the FM macro forum. The name is surprise, surprise, "O.C." :D I do hang out at the Texas Forum some too.

BTW, If you don't need MF scanning, I have had great success scanning B&W and my Kodachrome slides with a Nikon Coolscan IV on loan from a buddy. I hear the Coolscan V is much better (and cheaper than the 5000).

And I WOULD LIKE to do a tiger shoot but get up to big D too infrequently to attend one so far.

O.C. in Victoria

that's right , wasn't this one of your shots .

Might be cheaper to find a FED-5 with a working meter? :D

Then again, even the working meters found in FED-5 (at least those which I've seen) are not too accurate, except in good light, in situations where exposure 'guesstimation' would often suffice. The loss of the meter isn't really a handicap in a FED-5.

Jay
Jay,

Perhaps I have the exceptions then - both my FED 4 and 5C agree pretty much exactly with my trusted Weston Master IV. The handicap remaining from a non-working meter is that you could have had a better looking camera. IMO the only offset to the looks is the meter!
